You are able to make a claim for asylum in UK on the basis that you have a well-founded fear of persecution on return to your country of origin because of your race, religion, nationality, political opinion or member of a particular social group.

When you make an initial asylum application you will l be asked to attend screening in person. At the second interview this is more detailed as to the basis of your claim which you can submit further documents. You then should receive a decision from the home office which will be sent to you.
